About
Ashley McCormack is an Associate at Goddard Law. Ashley represents plaintiffs in a broad range of employment matters, including discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and other workplace claims. With more than a decade of litigation experience, she brings a trial‑ready approach, strategic judgment, and a deep commitment to advancing workplace equity.
Ashley began her career as an Assistant District Attorney at the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office in New Bedford, Massachusetts, where she prosecuted thousands of criminal cases in the district and juvenile courts. Her years as a prosecutor—marked by both zealous advocacy and empathy for survivors—continue to shape her work on behalf of employees seeking accountability.
Before joining Goddard Law, Ashley practiced for five years at McCormack Law, representing clients in criminal matters, care and protection cases, restraining orders, traffic matters, and plaintiff’s personal injury claims. She also worked at two Boston‑based litigation firms, handling matters involving personal injury, property damage, professional malpractice, consumer protection, wrongful death, and product liability. Her experience representing both individuals and corporations gives her a unique and informed perspective when advocating for workers facing discrimination and abuse.
Ashley earned her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law, where she served as a law clerk with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Boston, the Massachusetts Joint Committee on Revenue, and the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps. She received her B.S. from Suffolk University.
Ashley has been named to Super Lawyers: Rising Stars from 2021–2025. She is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) and the New York chapter (NELA‑NY). Outside the courtroom, Ashley has volunteered with Discovering Justice, coaching mock trial teams, and is an active advocate in the fight to end ALS. She has personally raised more than $40,000 for ALSONE, a nonprofit dedicated to ALS research and patient care.
